Small and stable Accounting Firm in Piscataway is looking for a Tax Accountant.

Requirements:

• Must have a least a BS in Accounting
• A minimum of ten years’ experience doing both business and personal tax returns.
• Must have working knowledge of QuickBooks and UltraTax.
• Thorough knowledge of accounting and financial procedures
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Integrity with an ability to handle confidential information.
• Very strong personable, communication skills.

Duties include:

• Meeting with clients for preparation of personal tax returns
• Preparation of estimated taxes for clients
• Preparing ledgers from client’s bank statements and other information provided by the client
• Prepare bank reconciliations, balance sheet and trial balance.
• Preparation of sales tax and payroll reports – as required.
