Not Hybrid or Remote – Product Engineer supports automotive suppliers

Requirements:

• Four-year degree required – preferred in Engineering {Textile}
• Six Sigma Certification a plus
• A minimum of three years automotive manufacturing experience
• AND experience with soft textile fabrics – polyurethane foams, plastic films, nonwovens, and dynamic material testing
• Process engineering background a plus
• Molding and forming experience a plus
• Knowledge of automotive OEM specifications and test methods
• Experience in statistical software – JMP/Minitab & Access

Must be willing to travel up to 30%

Responsibilities:

• Supporting a small plant, you will communicate with customers to determine testing of new products, inspection, and packaging,
• Based on statistical analysis – develop specifications for material properties
• Drive PPAP testing requirements
• Visit customers to understand the interaction between the product and customers molding application.

Lump sum company paid relocation if not within commuting distance
