Requirements:

• A four-year degree is required, preferred in Engineering
• At least five years of UNION – Maintenance Management / LEADERSHIP experience of at least 10 direct salaried reports who in turn have a large hourly work force
• Industry background – metal – milling
• Working knowledge of plant mechanical and electrical equipment, and troubleshooting in the areas of hydraulics, pneumatics, drives, water circuitry, welding, basic electricity, and overhead cranes

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all mechanical and electrical maintenance of all equipment
• Responsible for recruiting, training, scheduling, motivating, and evaluating employees
• Correct unsafe work conditions and support safety culture at plant
• Develop budgets
• Accountable for quotes and installation of equipment
• Ensure environmental and safety requirements are being met
• Oversee machine shop operations
• Updates on maintenance management systems
