Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree – advanced degree preferred
• APICS, or CPIM or CSCP or Green Belt Certification
• SAP experience a plus
• A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a Senior Manager position in either the Manufacturing, Logistics, Supply Chain, and / or Transportation industry with
  • At least 3 years of these years Managing and Leading a team of at least five Procurement Professionals
• Significant Supply Chain and International Business Experience
• Working knowledge of Global Transportation and Logistics, S&OP, Procurement and Project Management
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Strong P&L experience
• Strong Analytical skills

Responsibilities:

• Strategic Planning
• End to End logistics strategy, vision, and execution
• Lead a Procurement team in freight and distribution
• Procurement strategy and oversight of bids and auctions with logistic service providers – including contract negotiation strategy
• Manage the Corporate Freight and Distribution budget
  • Conduct analysis on variances and formulate solutions
• Vendor management and performance
• Manage relationship with carriers and provides – emphasis on domestic transportation truck, barge, and rail
• Investigate logistic issues and develop corrective actions
• Oversite of export /import trade compliance
• Manage logistics assets / fleets and ensure maintenance, renewal, and fleet size optimization
• Coach, develop, and hire your growing team members.
