AR and Collections Manager

  • Must have at least a four-year degree AND
  • A minimum of 10 years’ experience in Credit and Collection & Accounts Receivable experience
  • Previous Supervision of at least 4 professionals in AR and Credit Collection
  • Extensive experience in credit analysis and collection
  • Proficiency in accounting software
  • Strong leadership, analysis, and problem-solving skills.


  • Formalize and implement process and procedures around:
    • Evaluation and assignment of credit
    • Cash application
    • Collections strategy
    • Bad debt calculation
  • Review roles and responsibilities for identifying improvement in:
    • Processes
    • Automation
    • Resource allocations and controls
    • Financial performance
    • Transparency
    • Data reliability
  • Manage the Accounts Receivable monthly closing process including:
    • Calculation of reserves
    • Account reconciliations
    • A/R dashboard reporting
  • Establish KPIs for Accounts Receivable Dept
  • Recruit, hire, train, motivate, and evaluate staff members
